Our go-to Cold Brew recipe
Ingredients
- 80g coffee: coarse grind (the coarsest settings on your grinder).
- 1L water: water in Finland is so good (I can't stop appreciating this) that you can use it straight from the tap. Make sure you use the cool side because it is… cold brew.
1. Add the coffee and water to a container.
2. Stir gently, just enough to make sure all the grounds are in contact with water.
3. Cover the container and leave the coffee steep for 12-16 hours in the fridge.
4. Filter the coffee into another container using a sieve, paper or cloth filter. We like to filter twice, first with a cloth filter and then the second time with a Chemex paper filter.
5. Your cold brew is ready. You can store it in the fridge for up to a week.
Tips: We recommend using lighter roast coffees with more fruity notes . It brings more of a refreshing summer vibe. Currently, Ethiopia Alemayehu Natural is our absolute favorite. Wanna drink coffee all day & all night? Try our Vanilla De Caf!
